I was flipping thru Flipboard the other day and saw this video. It is geared for kids, but, this old adult thinks it is a pretty cool card trick. I will have to try it when I can locate a deck of cards. :-)

Carmel By The Sea, Carmel, CA

This past weekend we took a day trip to Carmel, CA. One of our favorite places on earth, we decided to go with our 12 year old Lab, Sunny, hoping he would enjoy the day before getting too old!
We think he enjoyed it! There were hundreds of dogs in Carmel that day, most of them poodles there for the annual “Poodle Day” festivities.
If you have never been to Carmel….add it to your bucket list. It is wonderful.

McDonalds Hamburger Photo Shoot

I saw this link to the Huffington Post and was curious enough to click on it and watch the McDonalds video.
What I saw was a fascinating (to me anyway!) look into the real world of advertising and marketing photo shoots. Bravo for McDonalds for not being “afraid” to show how they do it!
