“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2″ Movie Review
(exciting end to a magical series)
Even though we knew what would be happening, it was magical to see the vision on the big screen. They made some changes from the book, but, it was all good.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron seek and destroy the remaining horcruxes and participate in a huge battle at Hogwarts. Beloved characters die (very emotional) while others show powers never before seen by movie goers (kick ass Neville and Mrs. Weasley !!!).
In the end…love prevails.
Go see it…maybe twice. Some of the battle scenes may be too intense for little kids, but, hey…if your child read the book, they probably imagined worse.

Einstein The Talking Parrot
Chau sent me this via email this morning! Amazing bird.
Einstein is an African Grey Parrot and is the star of the Knoxville (TN) Zoo’s bird show.
If you want to read a terrific book (Fiction) dealing with genetically engineered animals, including one very smart parrot, read “Next” by Michael Crichton.

Battlefield 3 Game Trailer
Surfing the Internet yesterday, I found this article stating that EA will be releasing Battlefield 3 on October 25 on the 360, PS3, and PC.
I remember when games on the computer consisted of a bouncing ball and paddles. Hell, I remember when there were NO computers.
Look at the graphics on this game….absolutely ASTOUNDING.

Brighter Christmas
Every year the folks at Brighter Christmas raise money to help those in need have a….hmmm, Brighter Christmas, by putting people in jail!
This year ForCarol.com supporter, Larry Hite, was put in jail…. so I went over to try to bail him out.
It did not seem to work….he was still in there asking (begging!) for a hacksaw as I left. Let’s hope the bail was raised and Larry gets out….but if not, the jail is on 10th and Central…you can visit. :-)
