Two married couples and two single friends enjoy a “kid-less” existence going out and partying until…..the kids arrive, and their world changes.

The married couples: Leslie (Maya Rudolph) and Alex (Chris Dowd) and Missy (Kristen Wiig) and Ben (Jon Hamm) handle the arrival of the kids differently.  No real problem for Leslie and Alex, big relationship problem for Missy and Ben.

Julie (Jennifer Westfeldt) is approaching an age where having a kid will no longer be an option. The only problem is: She can’t find the right guy to settle down with. Her best friend in the world, Jason (Adam Scott) has the same problem, but, he enjoys playing the field more than she does.

One night, they decide on a unique solution: They will have a kid together, share caring for the baby, but, still date. Avoiding the pitfalls they see in their married friends everything works out really well. Until one of them falls in love……with the other.

To see what happens, you will have to rent the movie, which is really good. Not for kids as it is rated “R”.
