“All at Once” Movie Review
Click to Watch the Trailer on IMDb (Youtube is stopping me from posting it):
James Maxwell (Jon Abrahams) is an up and coming artist in 2001 New York City.
Fresh off a successful showing of his work, where every piece was sold, terrorists hit the Twin Towers and killed James’s best friends. In their will, they assigned James to be the guardian of their two daughters ages 6 and a few months.
Rather then send them to child care, where they might be separated, the 20-something James took on the responsibility of raising two girls…..and dropped art.
10 years later
Grace (Nicole Elizabeth Berger) is a 10 year old musical prodigy who only knows James as her dad: And she idolizes him. Alexis (Sasha Frolova) is a disrespectful and angry 16 year old. She sneaks out at night to be with boys, take drugs, drink and……
Losing his latest job due to budget cuts in the arts, James returns to his hometown of Buffalo to start teaching Art at a local university. There, he meets the love of his life, Bridget (Mickey Sumner) and the kids, well, at first, they hate it.
“All at Once” is a very good movie about life. family, perseverance, and doing the right thing.
