“Emerson Heights” Movie Review

Cody (Austin James) is a struggling actor living in LA with his mother and younger sister.

Briley (Gatlin Green) is a struggling singer / actor living in New York City on a trip to LA for a possible audition.

The two meet in an Emerson Heights convenience store, and the sparks fly!

After a whirlwind day, Cody promises to write letters to Briley and they agree to meet again sometime in the future.

10 months later….

Cody kept his promise about writing letters and Briley is once again visiting LA.

Staying with Cody and his family, the long distance relationship between Cody and Briley both deepens and becomes more complicated.

Becaaaause…..Cody landed a huge part in a movie and is now famous, while Briley landed a leading role in a Broadway play and is now….hmmmm, well, still struggling, but, on her way.

Do Briley and Cody make the relationship work? Or is it doomed?

To find out….you will have to stream the movie on Amazon Prime. 🙂

“Emerson Heights” is told thru the eyes of a 6 year old girl who is staying with her Grandma and reading letters she found in the closet. We loved the movie and the way it kept us guessing the entire movie about the little girl and what happened to Cody and Briley. So cool!
