Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) was a geographer and surveyor with the British Army in 1905.
He had done an admirable job surveying for England, and was now given the chance to survey, as an independent source, an unknown area of jungle in Bolivia.
Amazonia.
Needing to leave his family for several years to complete this task, he and his surveying partner, Henry Costin (Robert Pattinson), did the job and returned several years later to ridicule in England for his findings of what he thought was a lost civilization.
Unfortunately for his family…..Percy became obsessed with pursuing this lost civilization and “The Lost City of Z” supposedly hidden in the deepest jungles where no -white- man has gone before.
Danger lurks around every turn……
