Movie Review: “The Out-Laws”

Owen Browning (Adam Devine) and Parker McDermott (Nina Dobrev) are getting married!

All the invitations have been sent and received, the seating arrangments have been made, the only people missing are the brides parents, Billy (Pierce Brosnan) and Lilly (Ellen Barkin), who are living in Africa at the moment.

One day…..Parker learns that her parents have been able to arrange travel and are on their way to the wedding!

Great news!

Well…….kinda?

It turns out that the parents owe Poorna Jagannathan (Rehan Zakaryan) $5 million dollars or someone (or many someones as it turns out) is going to die!

Yikes!

“The Out-Laws” is an Adam Sandler Happy Madison production, and with Adam Devine in the lead……you know before you hit play that this movie is going to be stupid, goofy, fun……and it is.

Not for little kids or the squeemish as there is a gush of blood everytime someone gets shot in the head, and it happens a lot!

But once you get over that….it is normal (comforting) Sandler stupid fun with some regular Adam Sandler folks making an appearance.

But……unfortunately, not Rob Schneider 😦

You know the dialogue / movie is great when Lilly exclaims how much she loved James Bond….but only the 5th James Bond. 😉

As you may know…..we love Adam Sandler and probably even more if he is not acting in the movie. hahaha

Devi, you really need to talk to your mom. 😉
