Movie Review: “The Portable Door”

Paul Carpenter (Patrick Gibson) is out of work and looking for a job.

On his way to an interview, he meets a stranger who claims to know him….he does not, but, that meeting is sufficient to make Paul lose his place in line.

Now at the end of a very long line, a stray dog grabs Paul’s scarf and runs away with it!

Coincidence?

With everything that has gone wrong for Paul….this is the last straw. He runs after the dog….down an alley….where he loses it, but sees a door labeled:

Applicants

Needing a job, Paul enters, meets another applicant Sophie Pettingel (Sophie Wilde), is called (by his name….wtf?) for an interview, and……is offered a job!

Coincidence?

Maybe…..

but then again…….

maybe not……

To see what happens, you can watch this movie on Amazon Prime. 🙂

“The Portable Door” is a mystical, magical, fantasy that is a lot of fun and just a bit scary. Rated PG-13.

Christoph Waltz (Humphrey Waltz) and Sam Neill (Dennis Tanner) make for a devilishly fun evil duo who…..oh, just watch the movie…..it is great fun. 🙂

Humphrey, Paul, Sophie, Dennis
