Movie Review: “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”

Army veteran and electronics technician Noah Diaz (Anthony Ramos) is out of work and struggling to pay for his brother’s medical care.

Hooking up with some old friends, Noah resorts to stealing cars to make a few bucks……and the first car he chose….just happens to be an Autobot, Mirage (Pete Davidson).

Mirage was called into duty when museum intern Elena Wallace (Dominique Fishback) discovered what turns out to be half of a key that could allow the Autobots to return home.

Only problem is, evil Unicron (Colman Domingo), also wants this key to travel between universes feeding on planets……..and he has been looking for the key for a very long time.

Note: The “Maximals” took the key to Earth 1000 years ago, split it in half, and hid the two pieces, and themselves, in the jungles of Peru.

Now that one piece has been found…..all they need is the second piece to……

“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” was totally off my radar until Lori said she wanted to watch it. Truthfully, I had no desire to watch it, but, I’m glad I did because……it is FUN, and we get to catch up with old “friends” like Bumblebee and Optimus Prime while meeting some new characters, like Noah, Elena, and the Maximals who are ready to take the Transformers to the next level.
