Single mom, Flora (Eve Hewson) is struggling to keep her 14 year old son, Max (Oren Kinlan) from committing more crimes than he already has.
The advice the local garda gave her is to find something for Max to do, or it will be jail time!
Passing a garbage dump near a rennovated home, Flora picks out a guitar, has it fixed, and gives it to Max for a belated birthday gift.
He does not want it, but, Flora decides to pick it up and learn how to play!
Looking online for a guitar teachers, she finally finds Jeff (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)….then…….
