Movie Review: “Spy Kids: Armageddon”

Super spies, Nora Torrez (Gina Rodriguez) and Terrence Tango (Zachary Levi) have developed a computer code that can hack into any system in the world.

They use that code, as employees of the OSS, to do good and arrest the bad people.

Nora and Terrence’s kids, Tony Tango-Torrez (Connor Esterson) and Patty Tango-Torrez (Everly Carnanilla) are super smart, technically savvy, and can win any electronic game presented to them.

Nora, Patty, Tony, Terrence

Tony signs up to play in a tournament that, if he wins, will allow him to download a beta version of HyScore, the latest and greatest immersive game developed by Rey “The King” Kingston (Billy Magnussen).

For some reason, Tony feels the need to cheat to win the tournament, and does. He and can now go home, download HyScore, and play it before anyone else has the chance.

Unfortunately, Rey wants the Armageddon Code so he can rule the world! And letting Tony download the beta version of HyScore will give him access to the Tango-Torrez network…..and the code: Armageddon.

Yikes!

Rey now has the Armageddon code and is free to use it to “rule the world”.

Except…..

Oh, to see what happens you can stream this movie on Netflix. 🙂

“Spy Kids: Armageddon” is a fun kids movie that has lots of action, intrigue, and two really smart kids (except for being duped into letting a bad guy get on their home network) helping their super spies mom and dad save the world!

Ignore the haters….this is a fun family movie! We loved it……and also loved the homages to the original.
