
1944
Archaeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his cohort Basil Shaw (Toby Jones) are hot on the trail of one of Hitler’s most valued antiquities…a Lance.
On a train filled with Nazis guarding the antiquities, Dr. Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), knows the Lance is a fake. But in his briefcase, he has a truely powerful antiquity that, when matched with it’s missing half, will allow the owner to rule to world: The Antikythera or Archimedes’ Dial.
This is a device that can predict an opening (fissure) in time and space that will allow time travel!
Imagine the history that can be changed, and Dr. Voller is ready to right the wrongs of Hitler….if only he can find the other half.
Luckily, Indy and Basil grab the Dial and……
1969
Professor Indiana Jones just taught his last college class and is celebrating his retirement at a local bar when a young woman, Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), walks in and re-introduces herself to Indy: She is Basil’s daughter and she wants Indy to come with her to find the Dial.

But, all is not what it seems and…….
Oh, to see what happens you can STREAM this movie in glorious 4k on Disney+.
“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is a fun Indiana Jones, globe trotting, action-packed adventure…..even though it is basically a (very expensive) way for the elderly cast of orginals to say their farewells.
Will this be the end?
Not likely as the last scene seems, to me, to indicate more to come! 🙂
