Fresh off their success redeeming their latest mean person the three ghosts: Present (Will Ferrell), Past (Sunita Mani), and Yet-To-Come (Tracy Morgan & Loren G. Woods) set out to find the next humbug asshole to redeem next Christmas.
They find Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) but the ghost’s boss, Marley (Patrick Page), quickly turns him down as “unredeemable”.
But…..Present wants him!
And after a discussion between the ghosts…..
Clint Briggs is chosen to be next Christmas’s haunting.
While the ghosts are studying Clint (a year long process), Present meets Clint’s assistant, Kimberly (Octavia Spencer), and….GASP….falls in love!
Then, when Christmas arrives, all hell (sorry) breaks loose and…….

“Spirited” is a weird, musical, remake of “A Christmas Carol” that is both entertaining and cring-worthy.
A great cast helps, and, both Spencer and Page rocked our worlds with their singing! Wow.
I loved it when Present told someone he looked stupid in a Buddy the Elf costume. Sooo funny.
But, overall, Lori liked it better than I did.
