Movie Review: “Meg 2: The Trench”

A team of researchers headed by, Jiuming Zhang (Jing Wu), are studying the depths of the Mariana Trench when they accidently uncover an unknown predator lurking at those same ocean depths: A mining company that is making billions of dollars off of rare earth material found only at 25,000 feet below the surface, and they will stop at nothing to keep operating.

The researchers are now prey to not only the Megalodons living at the bottom of the trench, but, now, also the evil mining company.

Luckily, one member of the team has the skills needed to help them survive both enemies……Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham).

With Jonas, his adopted daughter (who was about 10 in the last movie), Meiying (Shuya Sophia Cai), and several tough researchers…..

“Meg 2: The Trench” is a fun, action-packed, adventure that will keep you at the edge of your seat, and breathless, for the entire 2 hour run! Wow!
