Centuries ago
A dragon and the then king of a wealthy realm made an agreement to spare the king’s life: The dragon would, every generation, receive the offering of three daughters of the king and queen to keep the dragon from killing everyone in the realm.
Now
The citizens of a poor realm run by Lord Bayford (Ray Winstone) and his new wife, Lady Bayford (Angela Bassett) are suffering with lack of food, water, heat, and more…..and are either dying or leaving!
A letter arrives from Queen Isabelle in a neighboring wealthy realm offering Lord Bayford unimaginable wealth if only he would agree to allow his oldest daughter, Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown), to marry her son, Prince Henry (Nick Robinson).
Finally able to help his people, Lord Bayford gladly accepts the offer, then, all hell breaks as……

“Damsel” is a fun, action-packed, fantasy pitting a strong human female against an equally strong dragon female.
Predictibly, the sexist haters sitting on their computer in mommy’s basement all hated this movie……while we LOVED it!
