After spending 7 years at sea, and having developed a line of chocolates that are “exquisite”, Willy Wonka (Timothee Chalamet) is ready to settle down and make money selling his chocolates.
He even has a place staked out for his factory.
Unfortunately, that location is surrounded by other chocolate manufacturers….and they are not happy about Wonka invading their space and profits.
His first night, with no money left in his pocket, Wonka sits a bench and gets ready to sleep the night…..when a guy, Bleacher (Tom Davis), comes by with an offer of a place to stay.
Happily signing an agreement for a room given to him by Mrs. Scrubitt (Olivia Colman)……despite a warning from Noodle (Calah Lane) to READ the fine print…..

“Wonka” is a fantastic movie (“It’s over already?) that is magical and musical, a modern day classic, even though it is a prequel to a couple of classic classic movies!
Great fun!
