A new lottery was developed in the great depression of 2026 where the winner of the lottery has to stay alive until sundown. If they are killed before sundown (no guns with bullets allowed), the killer inherits the money.

In 2030, former child actor, Katie (Awkwafina), is a bit down on her luck searching for both work and a place to live in Los Angeles.

Unknown to her…..in the pocket of borrowed pants….is a winning lottery ticket worth $3.6 billion!

With her name and face on it!

And, now…..everyone in Los Angeles is out to kill her.

Luckily, Noel (John Cena), drops into her life (literally) to protect her….for 10% of the $3.6 billion.

She gladly signs the agreement, and…..

“Jackpot!” is a goofy, quirky, stupid, weird, action-packed….fun movie about a lottery winner who is running for her life from…virtually everyone!

This Youtube star turned actor quickly learns to trust no one…except, maybe, a wrestler turned actor. 🙂

We LOVED it!……even though Lori repeatedly used the word “stupid” while watching it (and not looking at me, whew).
