Since she was 4 years old, Anne Yum (Awkwafina), has watched the Quiz Show with host Terry McTeer (Will Ferrell).
As Anne grew up, she started answering the questions before even the most accomplished contestants!
One day, Anne’s wild child older sister, Jenny Yum (Sandra Oh), took a video of Anne answering the questions and posted it online.
That video went viral resulting in an invite to audition for…..the Quiz Show….
Now famous as the Quiz Lady the resulting fame gained the attention of a loan shark who is owed $80,000 from their wayward mother….and who is holding Anne’s dog, Linguini, hostage until he gets paid.
The sisters decide that the best way to pay off their unexpected debts is to win the Quiz Show!

“Quiz Lady” is a hilarious comedy with a great cast who all looked like they were having a blast making this movie. Gotta love Nora Lum! Ya ya….. 😉
