The Garcia Family is about to embark on a vacation to Mexico that Val (Eva Longoria) hopes will reconnect the family with their Mexican roots.
The magazine that Val writes for is paying for the trip and the huge, really fancy bus, that will take them there.
As they are preparing to leave the bad luck kid in the family, Alexander (Thom Nemer), (who sister Mia (Paulina Chavez) avoids at all costs) finds a cursed idol in the attic and learns the story of the idol from Grandpa Gil (Cheech Marin).
After Dad, Frank (Jesse Farcia), throws the idol in the garbage, the family heads out on their adventure!

“Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip” is a fun, often hilarious, but, ultimately heartwarming family movie. Great fun. The best line is when Frank asks for some hot Cheetos! 🙂
