Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) has dreamed of being a hockey player since he was a little boy.
Unfortunately, he is not a good skater or player.
After multiple unsuccessful tryouts with the local hockey team, Happy finds that he can hit a golf ball REALLY far!
Needing money to help his Grandma (Frances Bay) keep her house, Happy reluctantly goes where the money is……golf!
He recruits help with his “short game” from a local pro, Chubbs (Carl Weathers), and is happy to receive encouragement from a golf insider, Virginia (Julie Bowen).
Happy is happy to be a golfer and even happier to be part of Virginia’s life.
