Viking teenager, Hiccup (Mason Thames), is not a dragon killer.
As such, he does not think that Astrid (Nico Parker) will ever like him, and that his father, Stoick (Gerard Butler), will ever be proud of him.
But Hiccup sticks to his beliefs and when he takes down a dragon with his more humane weapon, he finds that dragon, helps him heal, flies on his back, and names him Toothless.

“How to Train Your Dragon” is an excellent live-action remake of the original 2010 animated movie. Plenty of action with a moral. Have tissue handy.
