Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) have recently broken up.
Unfortunately, this breakup effected their dog, Merv, most of all.
Merv is severely depressed and the vet says that he might need Zanax if he does not snap out of it.
Seizing the opportunity for a “guys only” trip, Russ takes Merv to a dog vacation in Florida!
Russ is having fun, he even met someone, but Merv is still depressed.

“Merv” is a fun comedy / drama that touches on some very serious topics while also being an entertaining movie.
