“Water for Elephants” Movie Review

“Water for Elephants” Movie Review

 (Chau (Carol’s Mom) & Helen)

(Mike & Lori: Magical, Wonderful, Delightful)

Summary

An old man (the fantastic Hal Holbrook) left a nearby Nursing Home to see the Circus.  Once there, he seems confused.  The head of the circus takes him into his office, and they talk about the old days leading up to one of the worst circus disasters in history.  His story is the movie.

Mike’s Review

Watch for this movie and Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson, Christoph Waltz, and Rosie the Elephant at Oscar time.

Witherspoon is at her best ever.  Beautiful, smart, caring.  Pattinson far surpasses Edward and Cedric, and Waltz is simply amazing….and scary.

In a very funny (unintentional) twist, Pattinson’s character is named:  Jacob.  🙂

Best Movie of the Year so Far….4.5 WaterTowers is almost Shawshank territory, and it might get there with multiple viewings.  I loved it!

I wonder what Chau and Dan will think?  Chau gave it 3.5 WaterTowers.

Drive Safe!  Never Forget.
