“The Tourist” Movie Review
(Johnny Depp & Angelina Jolie…need I say more?)
The critics did not seem to like this movie. To them I say: Get a life!
We watched it in the movies, and then we bought the blu-ray disc. Last night we re-watched it on blu-ray. The movie is very good, but, the scenery was spectacular. Crisp, beautiful…geeezz, I looovvve high def.
Picking Frank Tupelo (Depp) on a train to sit next to, Elise Clifton-Ward (Jolie) was on the run (from the police) to meet her lover, Alexander Pierce, in Venice. Unfortunately, a really bad guy is also looking for Pierce since he stole $2.3 billion from the bad guy.
Depp gets involved….with the bad guy (and cops) thinking he is Pierce….ooops. Moral: Be careful who you sit next to in a train…but, truthfully, I would sit next to Jolie ANYTIME…and take my chances. 🙂
Very cool action thriller movie with an amazing twist at the end…..
