Movie Review: “The Lake House”

(Time Travel Terrific)

Sandra Bullock (as Kate Foster) and Keanu Reeves (as Alex Wyler) are both outstanding in this very interesting movie (released in 2006) about two people living in the same
house, communicating via a mailbox, but two years separated in time.  She in 2006, he in 2004.

They fall in love.

We find out that their lives have crossed (he knows, she does not), and that they are destined to be together…if they survive.

OK for kids, but, it requires you to put on your thinking cap as the time difference can be a bit confusing.

Rent it!  A terrific love story.  We watched it on blu-ray (yes, we bought the DVD).
