For those who do not know, I also write a Book Review Blog where I review…..Thrillers. Unfortunately, with so many authors, and so many books, I have yet to read Lee Child (even though I have several of the Jack Reacher series in the queue). Sooo, this movie (much like the first Harry Potter) was my introduction to Jack Reacher. Needless to say, I now will change my reading queue to read my first Lee Child very soon.
A great movie! A great thriller! Tom Cruise (as Jack Reacher) nails it. Rosamund Pike (as Helen) is excellent. Lee Child makes a cameo…that was cool.
Of course reading hundreds of thrillers helped me figure out what was going on before the audience really knew, and Lori figured out the intended target way before me! But it was still a most enjoyable, thrilling, 2 hours. A perfect get-a-way from the realities of life movie.
There is one f-word, but, otherwise the action is fine for kids and adults alike. Little kids won’t like it but teens surely will as the action and intrigue are nearly constant. Women (or men) who like Tom Cruise won’t be disappointed.
