“Twilight” Movie Review

4-Watertowers ForCarol.com Movie Review
(Sparkly)

Lori went to Best Buy and purchased the all-in-one Blu-Ray set of all the Twilight movies. We watched the first one the other day, “Twilight”.

A sparkling good movie fine for the whole family with reservations.  Rent it and watch them all in order like we will be doing in the next few weeks.

Moving from hot and dry Phoenix, AZ to the cold and rainy Forks, WA  Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is apprehensive.  She and her Dad don’t talk much, and the only person she knows, Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), does not go to her new High School.

Once in school, Bella connects with the very white, very handsome, very sullen, Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson).  Sullen Cullen (sorry, I had to do that) falls for Bella, so much so, that he  he wants to eat her for dinner, but, since he is a vegetarian he resists.

Yes, we all know that Edward is a vampire.

In this first movie, Bella meets the Cullen family, some cool kids at High School, and a rouge band of wandering vampires who are definitely carnivorous and who want to eat Bella for dinner….for real.

A love story between a vampire and a human who smells good enough to eat.  Very interesting.

“Twilight” is good for kids of all ages.  I do not remember any f-words, but, there is some violence that might scare the little kids.  Teens are the target market, but, hey, I enjoyed….as did Lori.

A fun movie…it sparkles (sorry, again…I feel compelled to do that).  🙂

Go to IMDb for more information.  We bought the Blu-Ray DVD box set and watched it on our old 55 inch Sony HDTV.

Drive Safe!  Never Forget.
