“The Twilight Saga: New Moon” Movie Review
The Cullens have to leave Forks because the senior Cullen is looking 10 years younger than his age….and people at the hospital are starting to notice.
Problem is, Bella is now without protection (and also without the love of her life).
Or so she thinks.
Edward keeps popping up as a vision reminding her of impending danger. Too bad he is not really there.
Jacob finds weird stuff happening to his body, and learns that he is actually a werewolf and can change (ala the Hulk) into a vicious, very large, wolf upon getting angry.
As a wolf, Jacob’s job is to hunt and kill vampires which the wolves can do rather efficiently.
Despite the what the trailer makes you think…..Jacob takes center stage in “New Moon” as Edward is mostly gone or in the background.
I do not remember any f-words or cussing. The music is darker than “Twilight” lending an ominous tone to the entire movie. It is clear that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have chemistry galore. Jacob, unhappily for him, is in the friend-zone (even though Bella does say she loves him…..as a friend). No matter, he is there for her, and always will be.
“New Moon” is a very good movie. I do not understand the low IMDb rating? From my point of view, “New Moon” is definitely worth seeing and is very entertaining.
Go to IMDb for more information. We watched this on Blu-Ray…the second movie in the series.
