In this prequel to the 2001 Monsters Inc. hit movie, we join Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sullivan, or Sulli, (John Goodman) as they attend Monsters University as potential Scare students.
The only problem is…..Sulli is scary but too cool to study, while Mike is studious but not scary.
They both get kicked out the scare program.
To get back in, they join forces with the “nerds” from Oozma Kappa (OK) fraternity to try to win the Scare Games.
To see what happens, you will have to go see it! 🙂 The moral, at least from my point of view, is that good friends, with their own unique strengths, make for a powerful team.
Monsters University is an awesomely fun movie for the entire family. No f-words, no cussing at all, just plain college fun.
Disney is savvy. In 2001, my daughter was 9 years old when we first saw Monsters Inc., and is now in college. Hmmmm, this prequel is set in college. Good move! The lines were extremely long consisting of little kids, teens, and adults. Actually, I was surprised, I thought I might be one of the few who cared.
