“The Family” Movie Review

Under the witness protection program the “Blake” family moves to a small town in France. Giovanni Manzoni (played by Robert De Niro) is now Fred Blake.  He ratted on the mob and he, and his entire family, are now in hiding.

Unfortunately, neither he nor his family (wife Maggie, Michelle Pfeiffer, daughter Belle, Dianna Agron (Glee), and son Warren, John D’Leo) take shit from anyone and almost instantly get in trouble.  An unwise entry in a school newspaper finds it way back to the mob in the USA and the hit is on.

To see what happens you have to watch the movie.

“The Family” does not have a boring moment in it.  It is bloody, funny, and at times intense.  Not for kids and there are f-words.
