Cameron Diaz (as Carly Whitten) is seeing the man of her dreams (Nickolaj Coster-Waldau as Mark King).
He is handsome, great in bed, caring, and……married. Whooops.
Leslie Mann (as Kate King) is the wife who Diaz meets when she decides to surprise her wonderful guy at his home.
Kate pursues a friendship with Carly, showing up at her work, and at her home (with her huge Great Dane) where they eventually plan a take-down. As they follow Mark, they find out he is dating someone else (Kate Upton as Amber)! Then they all follow him and find him cheating with even more women. A real sleaze ball.
The three women gather information needed to hurt Mark to the core…..and they finally hit on the final solution.
“The Other Woman” is a very funny movie with a stupid ending (the final confrontation) that was over done and ridiculous, but, overall a good movie to get away for a couple of hours (if a bit longer than necessary).
Cameron Diaz is perfect and Leslie Mann has impeccable comic timing….she is amazing. The scene with her looking in the door peephole is soooooo funny. And: “I want to sit somewhere you did not have sex” when every spot has been taken her reaction is precious. The others are just ok.
