“Horrible Bosses 2” Movie Review

3.5-Watertowers ForCarol.com Movie Reviews(How Not to Start a Business)

Nick Hendricks (Jason Bateman), Kurt Buckman (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale Arbus (Charlie Day) return as entrepreneurs starting their own business manufacturing & selling their idea:  “The Shower Buddy” shower head.

horrible bosses 2Unfortunately, they are really REALLY stupid in the ways of business, and, after an appearance on TV they jump at the first offer that comes their way; a TV marketing firm led by Bert Hanson (Christoph Waltz) and his devious son, Rex Hanson (Capt. Kirk….errrr, Chris Pine).

Promising the trio a 100,000 item order, they promptly get to work putting together a factory, hiring people, and manufacturing Shower Buddies by the thousands.  When they had the order complete, Hanson cancelled it preferring to wait until they went out of business then buying them for pennies on the dollar. Quite the asshole.

The trio decides to get the money owed to them by “kidnaping” Rex. But, alas, they are way to stupid, and bungling, to do a good job, and things get really messy.

“Horrible Bosses 2” is laugh out loud funny. There are so many one liners, that you can never catch them all, and digest their meaning, before they move on to the next one liner. Original horrible boss, Jennifer Aniston is back playing every man’s dream: A sex addict. And Kevin Spacey, another of the original horrible bosses, returns giving the bungling trio business advice from jail.

There are interesting plot twists mostly centered around Aniston, Spacey, and Pine.
