“Burnt” Movie Review

4-Watertowers ForCarol.com Movie Review(Pursuing Michelin Stars)

Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) owned a Michelin two star restaurant in Paris when he blew it all on booze and drugs….ruining people’s lives in the process.

burntAfter taking some time off (3 years) to get his act together shucking one million oysters in New Orleans he returns to London vowing to build a Michelin three star restaurant.

Convincing an old colleague to set up shop in his families hotel restaurant, Adam goes about finding and hiring the best chefs he can find, including Helene (Sienna Miller). Then he invites a famous food critic to taste the food….bold move!

“Burnt” chronicles the trials and tribulations of working in a restaurant striving to be the best. It is a fun movie that, if you like chef movies, is worth the rental. Not for kids.
