If the world needs saving, who will save it?
The proposal to gather the worlds worst bad-asses as a team and let them wreak havoc on whatever threat is out there becomes a viable option.
Luckily for the movie, a threat to the world poses itself in the form of Enchantress / Dr. June Moone (Cara Delevingne).
The newly christened “Suicide Squad” is rounded up from jail (put there by the new Batman (Ben Affleck)) to stop her.
Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoys-Agbaje), and Katana (Karen Fukuhara) are lead by special forces soldier, Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) to stop Enchantress…..or die trying.
“Suicide Squad” is better than we thought it would be considering the dissing on social media. Nearly non-stop action from the opening credits to the end. A fun movie for DC Comic fans, and a great introduction to the “Suicide Squad” for us “newcomers” to the DC Comic universe (by “newcomers” I mean we who only know Superman and Batman). For those who care, I really really like the Ben Affleck version of Batman……beefy, brooding…..dangerous.
