“Hello, My Name is Doris” Movie Review

4-Watertowers ForCarol.com Movie Review(Life Starts at 60+)

Doris (Sally Field) has spent much of her adult life taking care of her mother.

After her mother died, Doris finds herself alone in her lifelong home, and in a world that has passed her by.

doris blogThe last of the old crew at work, Doris meets a much younger man, John (Max Greenfield) who is just starting at this branch. She likes him, but, has no idea how to handle these emotions.

Seeking advice from the 13 year old grand-daughter of a friend: Doris connects with John on Facebook, gets into electronic dance music, and generally makes a damn fool of herself.

“Hello, My Name is Doris” is a quirky take on the age old coming of age theme. After spending the best years of her life taking care of her aging mother, Doris, at 60-something years old, is finally free to be her own woman and to experience the life that has been on hold for so many years.

A very interesting movie as long as you are over 60 years old. If you are younger than that….Drive Safe!….and wait to see it.  🙂  Sally Field is amazing.
