“Central Intelligence” Movie Review

Robbie Weirdicht (Dwayne Johnson) is grossly overweight, dances, watches chick flick movies….and is bullied mercilessly in high school.
Calvin Joyner (Kevin Hart) is the most popular kid in high school. He is in the drama club, on the football team, and is voted the most likely to succeed.
After a particularly embarrassing incident at their last assembly before graduation, Calvin helped Robbie.
20 years later, Calvin is an accountant at a dead end job, he is not happy except that he still loves his high school sweetheart, now wife, Maggie (Danielle Nicolet).
One night, Calvin gets a Facebook request from Bob Stone. Not knowing who this person is, he accepts the offer (not a good thing to do). Stone promptly messages Calvin that they should meet, and that he is Robbie.
They meet and Calvin is shocked at Robbie’s/Bob’s transformation into a muscular, but, still troubled, CIA agent.
Stone needs Calvin’s accounting skills to save the world, but, the CIA is after Stone…..thinking he is the bad guy.
The chase is on!!!
Who is good and who is bad? You will just have to watch it to find out. 🙂
“Central Intelligence” is a fun movie. The Rock plays a different role for him: Effeminate, overly sensitive, and a bit goofy. Kevin Hart is……well, Kevin Hart. We love him! Teens should love it as will the adults.
Stay thru the credits….hilarious.
