Charlie Brown (Noah Schnapp) is still the unluckiest kid on the block.

peanuts movie 2Playing with the neighborhood kids (outside….how novel!) Charlie sees people moving into the empty house across the street from his. He sees this as a golden opportunity to start fresh with someone who knows nothing about his “loser” tendencies. The new neighbor is The Little Red-Haired Girl (Francesca Capaldi).

Charlie being Charlie, he completely muffs multiple opportunities to make a good impression on The Little Red-Haired Girl.

Or so he thinks…..

“The Peanuts Movie” is rated G, and is definitely a kids movie: Very sweet, no violence, a nice moral, and…..a bit slow (don’t watch it drowsy….haha). For parents or grandparents it is a nice nostalgia trip back to our younger years when life was easy, slower, and you could actually turn off and relax once in a while (and play outside).
