(Brutal, Bloody)

Doc (Kevin Spacey) is a really bad dude.

One day, before the movie was made, Baby (Ansel Elgort) stole Doc’s car. Instead of stopping him, Doc let it happen as he was very impressed by Baby’s driving skills. As bad guys do, Doc found, and then forced, Baby into his ring of thieves using threats and intimidation to keep him there.

A car accident when he was a youngster left Baby with tinnitus that he uses an iPod (actually several iPods) with earphones to drown out the constant hum in his ears. But he can read lips, and is very smart….and he can DRIVE!

Meeting, and falling for, Debora (Lily James), Baby wants out of the stealing and get-away driving game, but, Doc won’t let him go and threatens to kill anyone Baby loves to make sure he stays.

Baby and Debora need to escape.  Do they?  To find out, you will have to watch the movie.

“Baby Driver” is an original movie that is brutal and quite bloody (much like “Die Hard” bloody).  Definitely not for kids or the squeamish. But it is a wild 2 hour ride away from the reality and idiocy we are all now living with.  Oh, for fun……Baby’s real name is Miles….watch the movie to see if you can find out when that revelation happened. 🙂

Go to IMDb for more information.  We watched this at the Tracy, CA CineMark.
