“The Sweet Life” Movie Review

Kenny Pantalio (Chris Messina) is severely depressed and is stuck in a mind-numbing job as an ice cream delivery person.

One night, he leaves his ice cream bike and walks to a Chicago bridge contemplating jumping off, but, much to his surprise, Lolita Nowicki (Abigal Spencer) pops out from behind a beam and asks him if he is thinking of jumping.

She is too.  (But, really, jumping off a Chicago bridge probably won’t kill you…unless you drown).

Lolita suggests they go to San Francisco where the suicide success rate jumping off the Golden Gate bridge is close to 100%.  Kenny agrees.

Walking past a fancy restaurant, a patron gives Kenny the keys to his car, thinking he is the parking attendant.  Too bad for him, as Kenny and Lolita take the car and start their journey half-way across country to jump the Golden Gate.

What follows is a fun, heartwarming, adventure where two severely depressed people find love.

BUT……do they jump?  To find out, you will have to watch the movie.

Go to IMDb for more information.  We watched this over one of our streaming capabilities….I forget which one. 😉
