"Corrina, Corrina" Movie Review and Trailer

Manny Singer (Ray Liotta) and his 7 year old daughter, Molly (Tina Majorino), have just returned to an empty house after the funeral of Molly’s mother.

Manny needs to go back to work as a jingle writer but he needs to hire someone to take care of Molly while he is away.

Interviewing a ton of potential Molly-watchers, Manny settles on one, Jonesy (Joan Cusack).  Unfortunately, Jonesy likes to drink, but, the final straw came one night when Manny was in bed…..Jonesy jumped in with him telling him she does everything a wife does (the setting of the story takes place in 1959) now she needs the rest.

Needless to say, Manny starts looking for a new Molly-watcher, when out of the blue, Corrina (Whoopi Goldberg)  walks into their lives.

To see what happens, you can rent the movie.  🙂

“Corrina, Corrina” is a sweet movie about love, caring, and unity, with an interesting, sometimes cringe-worthy, look back to 1959 culture in America (sadly, we are heading back there with the Orange Dotard). Resist!
