“Crooked House” Movie Review

Aristide Leonides (Gino Picciano) is the patriarch of the Leonides family. He is a ruthless businessman, and, at 86, he shows no signs of slowing down or changing his attitude.
Relying on insulin, his young second wife, Brenda (Christina Hendricks) to inject him with that insulin when he is not up to the task. Brenda does so one night and the next morning Aristide is found dead on the floor. Brenda is being blamed for his murder.
Sophia (Stefanie Martini), Aristide’s granddaughter, calls an old friend, Charles Hayward (Max Irons), who is now a Private Detective, to investigate the “murder” before Scotland Yard gets involved.
Charles has 2 days.
With numerous murder suspects living in the house, all hating Aristide, Charles starts the interviews and slowly uncovers clues as to the murderers identity.
What he uncovers is shocking.
To see what happens, you will have to watch the movie. 🙂
“Crooked House” is a fun who-done-it based on the book by Agatha Christie. A great cast and tense unfolding of the clues only has one problem: Lori figured out who did it halfway thru the movie! 🙂 Can you?
