Leonardo Montenegro (Eugenio Derbez) is a filthy rich, snob, asshole, who has never worked a day in his life.
His father is dying and wants to hand the business over to Leo, but, Leo is sailing the high seas on his Birthday Yacht, playing with beautiful women in his, well, birthday suit.
Kate Sullivan (Anna Faris) is a single mom (her husband passed away) with three daughters, several jobs (pizza delivery, cleaning services, etc), and is studying to pass the (actually one of many exams nurses have to take…all the time) Nursing Exam.
Leo makes a mess on his yacht and Kate is hired to clean up. Leo asks Kate to get him a mango, she refuses, he fires her, then he pushes her off the boat into the water. Did I say he was an asshole?
But, karma is a bitch, and that night Leo falls off his yacht and is wahed up on shore….with amnesia!
What happens next is hilarious and Leo gets what he deserves (including a construction job).
In the process, the asshole changes into a decent person. Until…….

“Overboard” is a bit twisted around from the original movie but is just as much fun or more so. We love Anna Faris (come-on….Mom….geeez) and Eugenio Derbez is a comic genius.
