Amelia (Sara Amini) is an accountant at a large firm.
Lately, Amelia has been missing a lot of work and is becoming lax with doing her own work. She has been found to have taken money from the company and donated it to charities. She has the overwhelming desire to go out into the wilderness to be by herself with nature.
Joe (Tom Huang) is a fellow accountant at this large firm. He recently got divorced and is in a funk. Amelia tells him he needs to get out into the wilderness to find himself.

Amelia leaves a book for Joe detailing a few easy hikes he can take that will take his breath away….and help him connect with nature and himself.
When Amelia disappears, she sends Joe clues as to where she might be, so Joe decides it is time to find his friend and follows those clues.
What Joe finds is the beauty of nature and his inner beauty as he eventually (by meeting with Amelia’s older sister) discovers the truth about Amelia.
To find out what happens, you will have to watch the movie.
“Find Me” is a wonderful, heartwarming, heartbreaking, low budget indie film about…..life. The scenery is spectacular as Joe visits Zion National Park, Yosemite National Park and a few others in search of his friend and her video clues. I much prefer a Hallmark ending, but, life is not a Hallmark movie (as much as we would like it to be) as the reason for this web site’s existence can attest.
