"Jumanji: The Next Level" Movie Review

Spencer (Alex Wolf), Martha (Morgan Turner), Bethany (Madison Iseman), and Fridge (Ser’Darius Blain) have all graduated high school and are preparing to come home for the holidays where they plan to meet at Nora’s Diner (formerly owned by Milo (Danny Glover) and Spencer’s grandpa, Eddie (Danny DeVito).

Spencer comes home and, although he is happy to see his mother and grandpa, he is depressed that he and Martha have gone their separate ways. He longs for the all powerful feeling he had while inside the Jumanji game as Dr. Bravestone (Dwayne Johnson).

Finding the game in the basement, Spencer fixes it as best he can and travels back to Jumanji.

The rest of the gang misses him at Nora’s and discover that he fired up the old Jumanji game! They decide to all go back to find, and help, Spencer (all except Bethany who finds Alex (Colin Hanks) and takes him back with her).

Reunited in Jumanji, the gang is prepared to conquer “The Next Level” of the game…..but…..there is only one problem.

Eddie is now Dr. Braveheart, Milo is Mouse Finbar (Kevin Hart), Martha is Ruby Roundhouse (Karen Gillan), Fridge is Dr. Shelly Oberon (Jack Black), and Spencer is Ming (Awkwafina).

In this level, they all have at least one new strength or weakness. It’s a whole new game and they have to adapt to win!

To see what happens you will have to watch the movie. 🙂

“Jumanji: The Next Level” is better than the original remake of 2018 and, sorry Robin, better than the original. It is action-packed, hilarious, and tons of fun….with great scenery. I am ready for the next level! 🙂

Oh, stay a few seconds for the only credit scene where it looks like Jumanji is……oh, never mind, you will have to see it to believe it!
