“Where’d You Go, Bernadette” Movie Review and Trailer

20 years ago, Bernadette (Cate Blanchett) was an up and coming architect. After winning numerous awards, and being lauded worldwide for her creative genius…..Bernadette moved to Seattle with her husband, Elgie (Billy Crudrup), where she became a near hermit.

After 4 miscarriages, Bernadette and Elgie welcomed Bee (Emma Nelson) into their lives. With major health health problems, Bee barely survived infancy, further driving Bernadette into her own world walled off from everyone but Bee and Elgin.

Now in High School, Bee talks the family into a trip to Antarctica. Surprisingly, both parents kinda agree to go! Unfortunately, this decision leaves Bernadette even more anxious, hyper, and withdrawn than ever before.

Finally…..Bernadette leaves.

Where did Bernadette go?

To find out, you will have to watch the movie. 🙂

“Where’d You Go, Bernadette” is an excellent movie about what happens to a genius level talent, and loving parent, when her natural instinct to create is stifled.

Stay thru the end credits to see this amazing bit of architecture in Antarctica. Guess who got her groove back? 😉
