Margot (Malin Akerman) is your normal boring mom to two kids, daughter Clancy (Sadie Stanley) and son Kevin (Maxwell Simkins).
Margot is not letting Clancy get a cell phone, and does not let her go to parties without parents being present. Clancy is not happy and tells her mom she is lame.
Kevin is a goofball, just like his dad Ron (Ken Marino).
One night, when Kevin’s best friend, Lewis (Lucas Jaye) is there for a sleepover, and Clancey’s friend, Mim (Cree Cicchino) is there to sneak Clancy out to a party, bad people come and kidnap Margot and Ron!

After a visit from a U.S. Marshall, the kids realize that mom is not who they think she is, and are determined to save her and dear old clueless dad.

“The Sleepover” is a fun, and funny, action spy thriller where sometimes moms (and other people) are not who they seem to be. Fun movie for the whole family.
