Movie Review: “The Flash”

Barry Allen (The Flash) is living his normal life as a superhero and an intern in an office.

Stopping for a sandwich on the way to work (he is late….again!) he is called into action to save a whole bunch of people (mostly infants) in a local hospital.

That done…..he returns to pick up his sandwich….which was just completed!

Super speed has it’s perks. 🙂

Realizing he can use his super speed to go back in time, Barry travels back 10 years or so to save his mother from being murdered.

That done, he returns to his time, but, finds himself instead in an alternate universe where he teams up with his 18 year old self, Batman (Michael Keaton!!!!), and Supergirl (Sasha Calle)……since no other superheros exist!

WTF?!

Ah, the dangers of changing the past: The future / present is also changed!

All hell breaks loose as General Zod (Michael Shannon) returns to destroy Earth! No Superman! Arrrghh…..

Then……

“The Flash” is a fantastic fun action-packed movie filled with tons of great cameos…..and a return to years gone by with our heros from that era.

The best line in the whole movie was when Michael Keaton utters these words:

“I’m Batman”

The whole theater…….errr, house erupted in celebration (i.e. I screamed!)

Lets hope DC (and Ezra) get their acts together…..

Stay all the way thru the credits to see a drunk……..Aquaman. Very funny.
