Movie Review: “The Layover”

It’s been a tough day!

High School English teacher, Kate (Alexandra Daddario), lets one of her students read from a manga book with the principal watching. The book is sexual in nature and Kate is asked to resign. Ooops.

Meg (Kate Upton) is on a sales call trying to get her new line of cosmetics sold to a high class store. After trying the lipstick, and her lips going numb, Meg realizes that her new cosmetics line is from North Korea. Ooops.

Roommates and best friends since forever, Kate and Meg, decide they need to take the school break to go to Ft. Lauderdale for some fun in the sun!

Hopping the first plane from Seattle, they leave the middle seat (which is for losers) empty…….only to be filled by the hottest guy, Ryan (Matt Barr), either of them has ever met!

The competition is on between shy Kate and outgoing Meg to see who can get the guy…….who by the way, is headed to a wedding in Ft. Lauderdale.

A category 4 hurricane bearing down on Florida changes their worlds!

“The Layover” is equal parts hilarious, gross, sexy, and just plain fun. A road trip, that also now includes fine gems store owner, Craig (Matt Jones), just adds to the fun.

The ending will knock your socks off! 🙂
