Jack (Micheal Neeson) runs an art gallery owned by Ruth (Yolanda Kettle).
Jack loves running the gallery and under his direction it is thriving.
Until recently, Ruth and Jack were married, but, are now going thru a divorce and Ruth is going to sell the gallery within the month….unless Jack can come up with the cash to buy her out.
Jack’s mom left him half of her family villa in Italy. The other half belongs to Jack’s estranged dad and well known artist, Robert (Liam Neeson).
Jack convinces Robert to help him fix up the villa, which has been rotting for 20 years, and sell it so Jack can buy the gallery.

“Made in Italy” is a non-typical Liam Neeson movie as it is more romance / drama than action-packed thriller, and I’m sure working with his son, Micheal, on a movie dealing the death of a mom and wife (mirroring their real life)…..might have been really hard on them at times.
I loved it (hey….Liam is my hero), Lori just liked it.
