Many years after Caesar’s death, the world that we see consists of apes and humans.
The humans, for the most part, are silent and starving. Reduced to beasts.
The apes are making progress…gaining technological skills and knowledge.
One ape, Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand), is forming a “Kingdom” by kidnapping clans and killing humans. His base of operation is a formally human research / military base.
Trying to open the huge, very secure and heavy doors, Proximus knows that the knowledge contained within will help him rule the “world”.
The arrival of a chimp, Noa (Owen Teague), and human, Mae / Nova (Freya Allan) change everything…..
To see what happens you can STREAM this movie on Amazon Prime (for really great sound!) or Disney+ or your fav streaming service.
“Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” starts out a bit confusing, but, once Noa sets out on his own and connects with Raka (Bortus….errr, Peter Macon) and Mae, the story comes together and shines!

We loved it!
